WARNING ABOUT INSURANCE FOR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES:

IT IS PARC'S ETHICAL AND PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM ALL CLIENTS OF THE FOLLOWING:

Did you know that in order to receive reimbursement from your Health Insurance Company as an in-network patient, you must be labeled with a mental health disorder, a label that can follow you for years to come?

It can affect your future disability and life insurance premiums, job applications (private and public), bank loans, credit card applications and more. Think carefully about this before you proceed with in-network therapy.

PARC clients can feel confident that their privacy and confidentiality is respected and safeguarded.

Making the decision to seek help – and acting on it – is a positive step. At PARC, we’ve created a safe place where clients can speak freely without fear of reproach. Confidentiality is highly respected at PARC; conversations between our therapists and clients are always held in strict confidence.

Because we are independent of managed care, the course of therapy is determined by the client and therapist – not by an insurance company or other third party.

When you work with a PARC therapist, your private records never leave our offices unless you specifically request that we do so. Your participation in counseling is never disclosed unless you, the client, explicitly requests it in writing.
